Erie-Huron-Ottawa Educational Service Center personnel work in some of the best schools in Ohio. The Center's service area encompasses twenty-two school districts, all of which are rated by the Ohio Department of Education as either Continuously Improving or Effective. These ratings reflect each system's commitment to providing students a quality education. A quarter of the local districts in our area are rated among the top ten percent (10%) of the schools in the nation by School Match, Inc.

Schools in our service area enjoy the support of their communities. This translates to positive votes at the ballot box. Active parent groups, booster clubs, and community support hallmark our school districts. Parents attend student conferences and are always on-hand to root for their sports teams or applaud their children's efforts at concerts and plays.

Erie, Huron and Ottawa County Schools are known throughout the state. Our students have received honors in various academic competitions and on statewide testing. Each year, for the last thirteen years, at least one student from our service area has been named one of the top scholars in the state.

Our students also excel in athletics and the performing arts. Area schools have garnered a number of state athletic championships in the past five years. Our vocal and instrumental music programs and drama clubs are first rate productions.

Our schools' success has not gone unnoticed. Parents with school-aged children purchase homes in our districts so their children can receive a quality education. Twenty percent (20%) of the school systems in our area have constructed new facilities to ensure the learning environment complements the instruction.
